This page lists my projects in PHP class. You can click on each link to see each project on it's own page. Just like in the class, the projects start out easy and get harder and more complex as the list goes on!

The PHP Class

The PHP and Database class at Moraine Park Technical College made me nervous! I had heard before going into the class that it will be hard to memorize the tags and codes, and that I'd even have a hard time understanding what the code actually did. At first, PHP was very easy, but then again we took the learning slow at first. As the class wore on, I started to believe those opinions! Coding for PHP and databases will definitely take a lot of time before I think I have enough experience to confidentally work on it.

The Book

"PHP Programming with MySQL" is part of the Web Warrior Series published by Thompsan Course Technology and was written by Don Gosselin.

The Projects

• Quiz Scoring: The quiz itself was a file that came with the book. The scoring page, however, was what I had to create through instructions in the book. Go ahead and find out how much you know!
• Paycheck Calculation: This is a simple script that will calculate your full-time wages per week, no matter how many hours you worked.
• Credit Card Validation: This script will take out all spaces and dashes in a credit card number and repeat back to you the numbers.
