Webs by Kenlyn
Serving up the Web with elegance!
Welcome to my website! This site is made and maintained by Kenlyn Knop, based in West Bend, Wisconsin. At the moment, most of the pages on this site were made for school. I attend classes at Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) in West Bend, and am due to graduate in Fall of 2008 after an internship. I look forward to learning more about Web Design in the meantime!
These pages are constantly under construction! This site is best viewed in IE7 or Firefox 2.
Personal Pages
This category of webpages is all about yours truly! I live in West Bend in an apartment with a friend at the moment, working on school during most of my time. As far as hobbies, I enjoy reading, writing, cross-stitching and laughing with my friends.
- My Resume: Here is my resume, last updated in November, 2007.
- My DeviantArt: This is my DA gallery where you can see screencaps of my projects and my cross-stitching.
- Script Fun Page: Here's a page that uses JavaScript for fun activities and such that you can play around with. Have fun!
The Classes
I started going to MPTC in January of 2007 and retained a 4.0 GPA ever since then! Each class is a challenge unto itself and I find myself thriving and learning with the deadlines and stress of it all. Following the links below will bring you to the pages I made for that particular class.
- HTML/XML: This class taught the basics of HTML and XML, along with CSS styling both internal and external. This site was made entirely by hard coding!
- Dreamweaver: This site was made entirely in Macromedia Dreamweaver (not Adobe).
- EWTT: Emerging Web Trends and Technology - Subjects covered include web site accessibility, trends and web applications.
- Intro to Intranets: Just as the class title suggests, this class teaches how to build an intranet from the bottom up. The coding won't work for the password to sign in. I wanted to keep some of it there to show that I had used it before.
- PHP and Databases: This class teachers the learner about coding PHP and later in the class teaches about MySQL databases.
- JavaScript: This one's all aboutlearning JavaScript coding and the many cool things one can do with it from calcuations to changing the formatting of the page.
